About

I turn complexity into clearer brand direction.

I’m Roger Zapata, a brand strategist who helps growing businesses make sense of what feels scattered, identify the real gap, and turn it into a brand system that is easier to trust and easier to grow.

How I See the Work

I look for the system underneath the surface problem.

A business may think it needs a new website, packaging, campaign, or visual refresh. Sometimes it does. But the stronger answer usually starts by understanding what is unclear, disconnected, or working against the customer experience.

That is where I work best: connecting strategy, identity, offers, digital experience, and execution so the brand feels like one business instead of a collection of separate pieces.

My Approach

Clear thinking. Useful direction. Work that can actually be used.

Strategy only matters when it improves the decisions that follow. I aim to make the thinking clear enough that the next move becomes easier to see.

01

See the pattern

Look across the brand, customer journey, offers, and business context instead of treating each problem in isolation.

02

Build the system

Turn the diagnosis into a clearer structure that can guide identity, messaging, experience, and execution.

03

Make it usable

Translate the strategy into practical decisions, deliverables, and next steps that support the business.

The Work

The thinking should show up in the final experience.

Background

Strategy shaped by both business and execution.

My background spans marketing, account management, brand strategy, packaging, ecommerce, websites, and customer-facing creative work.

That range helps me evaluate a brand from more than one angle. I can move between the business problem, the customer experience, and the execution without losing sight of how the pieces affect each other.
